    Good question man. God is the answer I think. I’m pretty sure you yawn whenever god needs to slow you down. Why would god need to slow you down you may ask? To save your life. God knows a car crash is in your future, but he/she will make you yawn to put you back one second. Now you may be asking, why do I yawn when i’m driving then? Well to save other peoples lives. They see you yawn, they yawn, you save their life! God has a lot of lives to watch over, so he/she will sometimes make one person yawn causing a huge chain reaction. You see many examples of this daily but may not realize it; Football games, huge chain reaction yawning there. Airports, Subways, city streets, train stations, yawn, yawn, yawn. Millions of lives saved! That’s why you say “god bless you” after a yawn.
    Oh, wait… maybe that’s sneezes…

    Lets stray from the religious persecution that Whit has just unleashed unto us. I will present to you the Scientific explanation, therefore the correct explanation;
    “Yawns” have been heavily studied in the last ten years. After the ‘Yawn fallout of 1996-97′ almost 1 billion people yawned excessively, leading to major tired eyes and in many cases, sleepy time. Yes, most have never heard of the great ‘Yawn fallout’ because it was quickly covered up by many of the worlds governments. However Turkey and the Chez Republic are very open to talk about it.
    Yawns are the way we communicate the fact that we are under a nominal amount of stress. A brain wave transmitted by this amount of stress will pass on the “Yawnons” as some peons would like to call them. When a person Yawns a chemical is released making you tired as well as stressed out. The reaction is not the other way around as believed by many in the “scientific community.”
    Believe me, I have a PHD.

    On a side note: I wish I had a damn camera, I would put you all to shame with my manly yawning abilities.
